When you book a beginner surf lesson with Venture Sessions, you’re connecting with our Hawaii surf community. Our crew is made up of family, friends, experienced local surfers, and trusted surf professionals who love sharing the ocean and the stoke of catching your first waves.

Many of our Ohana are established Pros ,local surf schools, instructors, coaches and guides throughout Hawaii. This allows us to connect you with experienced people who know their home breaks, understand local conditions, and share our commitment to safety, quality, and a great experience.

Depending on the day’s waves and conditions, your session may take place at one of several beginner-friendly surf locations. We work to match you with the right crew and the right location for your experience level.

You’ll learn the fundamentals of surfing, ocean safety, surf etiquette, and how to catch and ride your first waves—all while getting a more personal introduction to Hawaii’s surf community.
